Cowles Library strives to maintain a clean environment that is conducive to research and study. While you are welcome to bring food and drinks into the library, we ask you to please help keep the library clean and comfortable by following these guidelines:
- Drinks should be in covered, spill-proof containers.
- Please do not consume food while using a library computer.
- Properly dispose of your empty food and drink containers in the trash cans.
- The preferred location for eating in the library is in Midnight Hall.
- Patrons eating in quiet study areas may be asked to move if the sounds or smells of the food are disruptive to others in the area.
