Drake alumni took advantage of the Teach in China program after they graduated. During their time at Drake, they were a part of the football team. Missing the comradery and action of the sport inspired them to start their own football team. This ultimately led to the opportunity for the Drake football team to travel. Due to the commitment to the athletics program, a lot of student-athletes do not have the opportunity to take advantage of the travel program that Drake offers. The Drake football team was able to travel to China and share culture through the sport while also learning new cultures during the exploration of the Great Wall of China, the University of International Business and Economics, and so much more!
