Opposing Viewpoints in Context: Home

Introduction

Opposing Viewpoints In Context is a collection of research materials organized around "hot-button" issues in American society. Despite the database title, it often has resources showing multiple points of view on a topic. It is a quick place to go when you need just one or two articles, but it is also good for understanding multiple sides of an issue. Materials may be news articles, recordings or videos, journal articles, or primary materials.

Each resource has a citation, and several tools are available for using the saving, sharing, citing, etc.
